How often you should wash your synthetic fiber or Human hair item depends on the use, as with your own hair, you will know when to cleanse.

 Everybody has different genetic make up oils that flow from the scalp regularly. We suggest if you wear a wig or toupe everyday, wash it at least 2 to 3 times a week and use the detangler and restore between washings.

 More permanent units that attach to the scalp or hair should be washed at least every other day during winter months and everyday during summer months as you are sleeping in them. We suggest Our shampoo and conditioner then spray on our restore for fiber shine and maintinance at least 3 times a week. Use our detangler daily for maintinance.

Suggestion for Synthetic and Human hair, hairpieces and snap-in extensions worn on a daily basis: spray with restore daily after use, use the detangler as needed and wash with Wiggin Out Shampoo and conditioner at least 2 to 3 times a week for a long fiber life.

If you are using holding spray or stick-it gel you may want to wash more often to change styles.

Human hair extensions attached to your human hair, using a more permanent form such as corn rows, glues, heat, etc need to be washed by both human hair products for your own hair needs, and synthetic products to maintain the fiber. When you wash your hair with human hair products normally everyday, incorporate Wiggin`Out Products every other washing; use the detangler and restore after or between washings.

Synthetic Hair Extensions: Attached to your human hair, using a more permanent form such as corn rows, glues, heat, rings, etc. The instructions are the same as Human hair extensions "above". 

We do not suggest using human hair products on synthetic or Human hair wigs, Hairpieces, Toupes or Extensions as it will break down the fibers, dull color and shine, build up on the synthetics and eventually, damage the fiber of the piece and it netting with no recovery.  However, stylists are currently attaching synthetic fibers into human hair; as the hair grows out, they simply replace the synthetic hair because of break down due to human hair products. Incorporating Wiggin`Out into your regimen will reduce this replacement and keep the synthetics looking human.
